How to Write Like a Wanker. Important stuff to know here. The original site was somewhere else, and I had it bookmarked back before The Great Computer Crash of 2007, but I think the link was dead by the time of the Great Crash. I ran across it again since I got this computer, and remembered how much I liked it.

There are rants, and then there’s artwork. “How to Write Like a Wanker” is both. And yes, I’m personally guilty of a couple or three things on the list, but I don’t care. :P

Mr. Picassohead - I would be amiss if I did not include a link to this site. I have spent (or wasted) countless hours “drawing” at this site. On holidays, some of the shapes and tools change, so at Christmas time, there are little trees, and around Valentine’s Day, there are little hearts, but at the moment it’s the regular ol’ Picassohead.

I did a self-portrait there ages ago that I’m fairly happy with, but I still go back every so often to fiddle around and make new pictures.

Loft Cube - I gotta say, this looks pretty damned cool. And maybe if you’re single, have only a tiny bit of land, and no idea of the value of a dollar, it’d be cool to live in, too.

Though, looking at the prices, I could build a nice three bedroom house for that price, if I already had the land to build on. I guess if I wanted to live in the city, and rent a roof or something, this would be okay, but ye gods, look at how many windows there are. I don’t know if I’d want to live in something that wide-open in a city.

Out in the sticks somewhere, where I could park it in the middle of a bunch of trees, maybe.

Attention to any knitters out there: I would like one of these. They have to be the cutest little Daleks I’ve ever seen in my life.

I do wonder, however, how much crossover there is between knitters and Doctor Who fans. There must be at least one, since they came up with this pattern, but still…

BookCrossing - This is a really cool idea, especially if you’re like me and read more books than you have room for.

The idea behind the site is to tag your books and leave them where others can find them, thus passing the books along to someone else who will, ideally, read them and then pass them along to someone else. I haven’t parted company with many books yet myself, but then, I’m not really in a position at the moment where I can get out in public and leave books lying around, either.

Once my lack of transportation has been remedied, I’ll be dumping off a lot of books, I expect, because there are plenty of places where random books could be found and given new homes, whether temporarily or long-term.

And I really do have way too many books, and nowhere near enough room to keep them all.

It’s a bit long, but I think it’s worth it.

Stewie Live - Stewie Griffin is my hero. Anything about Stewie is awesome. And you can tell Stewie to poop, which is way awesome.

Seriously, check it out, and find out what you can make him do.
